Come and discover what rare moths have landed in our moth traps (set the previous evening), and learn all about them as we set them free. We’ll then identify wild flowers as we take a walk through one of the South East’s finest meadows.
Sunday July 22nd – 9.30am – 11.30am
Swallowtail Hill Farm, Hobbs Lane, Beckley, TN31 6TT
The event will be run by Ralph Hobbs, a highly experienced local entomologist and ecologist.
The event is free but please call 01797 260 890 or email sarah@swallowtailhill.com to reserve a place.
Please note:
Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
We will be walking through tall meadow grass which will likely be wet from morning dew even if the day is dry and fine, so please bear this in mind with footwear and clothing.
There is limited parking on the farm, and some roadside parking in the lane. Sorry – the meadows are not wheelchair accessible.
