Here at Swallowtail Hill we pride ourselves on providing very well equipped accommodation for all of our guests.

We supply a great deal of kit and all of our accommodation is maintained to a very high standard. This is essential for us as a business –  we want to ensure your experience as a guest is everything you need it to be during your stay.

Maintaining these standards is our priority and we hope you understand that as a very small business we cannot shoulder the costs of any damage or breakages. We are always considerate of standard wear and tear and would never charge guests unreasonably. However, in instances where damage or breakages have occurred, we will take a charge to cover the cost.

Please note that our terms and conditions also state that we reserve the right to make a modest housekeeping charge if your accommodation has been left in an unreasonable condition on your depature. A standard changeover will take our staff three hours to complete – if a clean exceeds that timeframe we feel it is only fair to pass on the additional cost. A lengthy clean often means the next guests have a delayed check-in through no fault of their own and this is unfair too, so please be considerate of your accommodation during your stay. 

The security deposit is a hold we place for £50 on your credit card. This will be released within seven days of your departure after your break, less the cost of any accidental damage or breakages incurred by you during your stay.
