Rye Town App

We’re very excited about the fact that Rye now has its own Town app.  How many small towns can boast about that? Not many!

It’s free to download and is definitely going to become a really useful resource for our guests. We’re always keen to give our visitors recommendations on places to go and things to do – but often that means either directing people to websites, or texting them information and phone numbers, or hastily giving them directions when they are about to set off for the day and hoping they can find what they’re looking for!

The beauty of the town app will mean that guests can simply download it before they arrive on holiday and have access to all the info they need in the palm of their hand!  The app has sections on everything from places to eat and drink, shops to visits, beauty & wellness treatments to be had, walking trails to enjoy, and more. It’s super easy to use.

There’s a calendar of events so you can find out what’s going on in the area when you visit along with the latest news from the region. There’s information on local services from banking and post offices, to public transport and taxis. Usefully there’s a section on parking too – so you can plan your trip perfectly.

You’ll of course find us listed in the places to stay section! The Rye Town App has only recently launched and it’s exciting to see it start to fill up with information we really hope that it becomes a well-used guide and tool for anyone visiting the area. It’s called A Rye Good Time and you can find it in the App Store or on Google Play but we’ll be sending out the QR code in our info pack too – to make it easy for you to find!
