I am extremely angry with Hilary and Smiler. We’ve been more than generous to them and they have the run of the orchard since we understood that Kune Kune’s were grazers not rooters.

I am afraid to say that I think they might be mixed race since they’ve started to destroy the orchard by grubbing it up. I spent almost all of Sunday relaying the turf where their snouts had neatly rolled it up in search of heaven knows what. Next day they just unrolled it all again. They are now in Coventry in their pen which is far bigger than most pigs have but it is a completely waterlogged mudbath. Their fault. Stick to grazing.
