Over the years we’ve hosted many memorable occasions here. We know it can be a really special place to celebrate. Whether it’s a significant birthday, a family get together, or the annual reunion of close friends and their kids - Swallowtail Hill could be just the place for you.
We can offer the whole of our site to you for small group celebrations. We have six glamping spaces; our two cabins - Wood and Penfold, our two cottages-on-wheels - Meadow Keeper's Cottage and Woodcutter's Cottage, and our two luxury spaces - The Long View and The Roundhouse.
The two cottages-on-wheels are located individually around the farm - one in the meadows and one in the wood, each have their own facilities. The two cabins are located centrally in a pretty paddock at the bottom of a field and share a space and facilities. The cabins' paddock is the central space for groups to hang out together - it has a large covered dining deck and an outdoor covered kitchen, so it's the perfect place to eat, drink and celebrate.
When the site is booked exclusively by a group, one additional family or group of four can bring their own tent to pitch for a small fee. That means your small celebration can be as many as 26 people.
Please note that any additional guests who are camping under canvas will need to share the loo/shower facilities provided for the two cabins - Wood and Penfold.
The focus of your get together might be just enjoying time to hang out together right here on the farm, but you may want a group outing. If you do we're happy to suggest ideas for family activities or places to visit. You might fancy a trip on the steam train to Bodiam Castle, or a group hack through the countryside from our local riding stables, or maybe even a friendly mini-golf challenge on the seafront at Hastings. Just let us know what sort of occasion you want your break to be and we'll get our thinking caps on.
