The S’Lowdown on: The Brewery Yard Club

Given we’re in festive spirits we thought we’d tell you all about The Brewery Yard Club in Rye. We know many of you enjoy visiting local eateries and pubs while you’re staying with us, but I bet you didn’t know what we have a perfectly bijoux venue where you can enjoy live music, comedy and entertainment?  It really is Rye’s best kept secret – but we’re telling you because we share all the best local places with our favourite people!

Close to the heart of Rye, the club is arranged over four floors and is wonderfully cosy. It has a carefully curated cocktail menu that is undoubtedly the best in town, and there’s a great menu of light bites, main courses and sharing plates (please note I’m not sharing the baked camembert with anyone, get your own – sorry not sorry).  If you like a good night out that definitely ticks the going out-out box without also feeling like it’s a mammoth (and exhausting?) effort then The Brewery Yard Club is for you – you’ll feel at home as soon as you walk in.

The club has a capacity of just 100 people and the team is super conscious of safety so it’s always comfortable rather than crowded. Most events are ticketed and can be booked online, but when not hosting events the bar is open Thursday to Saturday, kicking off each session with happy hour. Thursdays are also live music nights and entrance is free – you just need to book a table. There’s plenty on offer besides music – if you’re after something to make you giggle then the regular Bingo and Dancing nights are our fave.
