The S’Lowdown on Limewharf Café

Alongside Bodiam Boating Station sits their sister business the Lime Wharf Café.

The Scandinavian boat house restaurant takes in beautiful views of the countryside with indoor and outdoor seating and you might even spot the Kent & East Sussex Railway trains in the distance!

Whether you’re on site to enjoy a day of adventure on the water or just fancy a great cup of coffee or a bite to eat, their menu has something for everyone.  From breakfast, to light lunches, hearty homemade burgers and on to afternoon tea, cake and ice cream – Lime Wharf Café has options aplenty.  They also have lots of tasty gluten free and vegan choices!  Throughout the summer the café is open daily from 8.30am to 5pm, with a later closing time on Fridays and Saturdays. 

Throughout the summer they are hosting BBQ’s and paella afternoons along with live music, so this is one place to keep an eye on for those visiting Swallowtail Hill on a sunny day.
